Harold Miossi (1922-2006) was a San Luis Obispo County rancher and environmental activist. Beginning in the 1960s, Miossi worked with other local environmentalists to protect Montaña de Oro State Park and fought against the construction of the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant. He led the efforts to prevent the construction of an eight-lane highway in Cuesta Canyon and to create the Santa Lucia Wilderness Area.
